Architecture is fundamental to human wellbeing. The quality of our homes, workplaces and public spaces influences our health, dignity, happiness and sense of belonging. We believe that good architecture is a human right, and that the architectural profession has a responsibility to make its expertise available to those who might otherwise be unable to access it.
The Architects Association encourages its members to contribute their knowledge and professional skills to the wider community through voluntary, pro bono service. Even a modest contribution of architectural advice or design assistance can have a lasting benefit.
Offer Assistance
Members of the Architects Association are encouraged to consider offering pro bono architectural services to individuals, communities and organisations in genuine need.
Those willing to assist are invited to register their interest, indicating their areas of expertise, geographical availability and the nature of the services they may be prepared to provide.
Participation is entirely voluntary, with each member retaining discretion over the projects they undertake and the extent of their involvement.
